Connecting with Someone Important: You!

There’s a lot more to you than what you show the world.  You won’t always be able to – or want to – explain who you are to other people, but what’s most important is that you know who you are.
Knowing the ways you communicate, the ways you feel loved, what you believe and why, what bothers you, what excites you...  Knowing yourself is the basis for self-confidence, for connecting with other people, and for making choices you can stand by.
This summer is a perfect opportunity to explore ways to get to know yourself.  You can try journaling, mediation, prayer, dream journaling, a vision board, or other techniques.  What works best for you?  What doesn’t work?
