How to participate:

Sign up for a Summer Reading account.
This is where you will log your reading progress; track the missions you complete and events you attend; and collect your points to put toward raffle tickets for grand prizes. After you create your Summer Reading account, stop by either FCL location to collect your sign-up prize!

Read or listen for 10 hours.
All ages are challenged to read or listen to books of their choice for 10 hours! Read or listen for 5 hours and you can pick up a halfway prize from either FCL location. Finish all 10 hours and you'll receive a completion prize! Don't forget you can read eBooks or listen to eAudiobooks through FCL using Libby, Hoopla, and other digital Library resources found in our eLibrary.

Complete missions.
All ages have special missions that can be completed to earn more points. View the full list of missions on your Summer Reading account once you have registered.

Attend Library events.
The Library offers free events for all ages! Join us at any of our summer programs and collect the event code to log on your Summer Reading account to earn more points. View all our events on our Event Calendar.

Log your progress and spend points on grand prizes!
The most important part of Summer Reading is to learn and have fun! The second important part is logging your reading progress, missions, and event attendance on your Summer Reading account. The more progress you log, the more points you earn to put toward virtual raffle tickets for grand prizes! Log all your progress and spend your points by July 30 for a chance to win.

Registration opens June 3!

Summer Reading is an annual challenge for all ages at Farmington Community Library. Complete the reading challenge, finish special missions, meet your community at Library events, and collect points for a chance to win grand prizes!
